TIARA FUKUI

PRINCIPAL

Tiara designs interiors that balance beauty and function with a deep sense of intention. Inspired by each client’s individual style, she creates spaces that feel personal, layered, and deeply reflective of the way her clients live. At the core of her design philosophy is a belief that a home’s interior should be thoughtfully informed by its architecture. By honoring the home’s original structure and architectural language, Tiara creates interiors that feel cohesive, timeless, and naturally at ease.

Her approach is grounded in structure, organization, and a clear, focused process, allowing clients to feel supported and confident from concept through completion. Tiara works collaboratively with architects, contractors, and skilled tradespeople to bring each vision to life, with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and longevity.

Creativity has been part of Tiara’s life for as long as she can remember. As the daughter of two graphic designers, she grew up immersed in design and visual storytelling, and from a young age knew interior design was her calling. Tiara earned a B.A. in Interior Design from San Diego State University, along with a minor in Business Management. After graduating, she spent years refining her craft while working with respected design and architecture firms throughout the Bay Area before founding Tiara Midori Interiors.

When she’s not designing, Tiara values time spent with family and friends and can often be found alongside her two dogs, drawing inspiration from the everyday moments that make a house feel like home.
